Animation
Character Animation
One of my favorite things to do is take a character and bring them to life through acting, motion, and dialog
A Sassy Suggestion
A lip-sync activity I did for class in spring of 2025
Carry You
An in-class activity playing with shifting weight, heavy mechanics, and acting
Dancing Through Life
Using a popular song to play with the dynamic between two characters
Good Save!
A lip-sync with three characters, playing with environment and interaction
The Basics I've learned
One of the keys of animation is getting the basics first so that we can play with them. Things like walk cycles, flour sack weights, and even technical things with Adobe software
Walk Cycle
An exercise I did in class to highlight emotion, using a study of the character Giulia from Pixar's Luca
Flour Sack
An exercise highlighting weight distribution as well as reaction
Motion paths and Parallax
A quick study in using Adobe Animate to create parallax motion, as well as moving a symbol along a motion path
Symbols in Animate
A looping video using animated symbols and repeating them in a cycle
Storyboards
